The PHDCCI MSME Banking & NBFC Excellence Sammaan – 2025, jointly organized by PSLAI and PHDCCI, is a first-of-its-kind initiative towards driving the growth and empowerment of India’s MSME sector. This event will provide an opportunity to discuss innovative strategies, celebrate achievements, and foster collaborations that will empower MSMEs to contribute significantly to the nation’s march toward Viksit Bharat@2047.
As the backbone of the Indian economy, growth, employment, and innovations are what Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) bring on board. With more than 63 million MSMEs that contribute to employment for 11 crore individuals, the sector accounts for 30 percent of India’s GDP and 45 percent of the exports. However, several challenges such as inaccessibility to credit or lack of technological integration are often reported to hinder the potential growth. This event zeroes in on practical, growth-centric solutions designed to eliminate these barriers.
The program is designed to bring policymakers, financial institutions, industry leaders, and MSME stakeholders together in alignment towards strategies that unlock the full potential of the sector. It will feature key sessions on how DPI, sustainable finance, and innovative lending practices transform the ecosystem of MSMEs into scale. It will discuss how cutting-edge technologies can be leveraged to promote credit access, reduce risk, and drive sustainable growth for MSMEs.
The event will be graced by distinguished Chief Guests:
  • Shri Pankaj Chaudhary, Hon’ble Minister of State, Ministry of Finance, who will address the inaugural session.
  • Sushri Shobha Karandlaje, Hon’ble Minister of State, Ministry of MSME, who will honor the awards ceremony.
A significant focus of the event is the Excellence Sammaan Awards, wherein it honors banks, NBFCs, fintechs, and individuals who have made a distinguished contribution in furthering the growth of the MSME sector. These awards would promote innovation, sustainability, and leadership and inspire others to support the cause of the growth of MSME.
The PHDCCI MSME Banking & NBFC Excellence Sammaan – 2025 is not an event but a movement that empowers MSMEs to grow, innovate, and become resilient contributors to India’s economy. It aims to create a robust ecosystem where MSMEs can access the tools, resources, and opportunities they need to flourish by fostering collaboration and sharing best practices. Join us on 20 January 2025 at PHD House, New Delhi, to be part of this transformative journey toward a progressive and self-reliant India.
